Procurement Coordinator (Junior Level)

Marlborough, MA

$24–$28/hour | Contract (6+ months, potential to convert)

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We’re looking for a motivated Procurement Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis while a team member is on extended leave. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on supply chain and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Support the purchasing team by preparing and processing purchase orders.
• Track orders and deliveries, helping to resolve delays or issues.
• Maintain supplier information and update purchasing databases.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm orders and pricing.
• Assist with inventory tracking and restocking needs.
• Work closely with internal teams to make sure materials and supplies are available when needed.
• Help resolve invoice or billing issues with the finance team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related office role.
• Experience with ERP systems (any system is fine; Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear communication and willingness to learn vendor negotiation basics.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read technical or mechanical drawings (helpful but not required).
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices.
