Location: Mount Airy, NC 27030
Contract- 3+months
Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20-$22.34/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Scenic Outlet PSC in Mount Airy, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
• Conduct rapid testing (DT, flu, strep), data entry, and some front desk coverage
• Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Work alongside a team member from 8:00 AM–2:30 PM, then independently to close the site
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Experience drawing blood from both pediatric and geriatric patients
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• TB test and color vision screening required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• 3-day computer training followed by approximately 1 week of hands-on training with a team lead
• Reliable transportation is a must
