JOB OVERVIEW:

• Job Title: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Job Type: Locum Tenens.
• Location: Harrisburg, PA.
• Service Setting: Hospital Operating Rooms and Offsite Anesthesia Locations.
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only.
• Coverage Period: 08/18/2025 - Ongoing.
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 10- and 12-hour shifts preferred (some 8s available); 20 shifts/month expected.
• On-Call Shift Schedule: None (occasional night/weekend shifts may be offered).

COVERAGE DATES:

• Start date August 18, 2025.
• Ongoing need due to turnover vacancy.

PATIENT INFORMATION:

• Patient Demographics: Adults only.
• Phone Consults: No.
• Case Mix: Total joints, bariatric, robotic, spine, urology, plastics, ENT, endoscopy, occasional IR or brachytherapy.

FACILITY INFORMATION:

• EMR System: Epic.
• Office Equipment Available: Anesthesia workstations, OR and ENDO setup.
• Specialty Backup Available: MD anesthesiologists, SRNA students.
• Support Staff Available: Full anesthesia team, 1:3 staffing ratio.
• Reason for Coverage: Turnover Vacancy.

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE:

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes.
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes.
• Credentialing Timeline: 90 days.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered.
• Rate: TBD.

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• General CRNA duties in surgical and procedural anesthesia.
• Regional anesthesia experience a plus but not required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license required.
• Board: Board Certified CRNA.
• DEA: Not required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty.
• Other Qualifications: Desire to integrate long-term with the department; participation in meetings encouraged.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver anesthesia care in 11 ORs, 2 ENDO suites, and occasional offsite locations (IR, brachytherapy).
• Participate in cases including ortho, bariatrics, robotics, urology, ENT, and plastics.
• Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and SRNA students.
• Be available for possible occasional night or weekend shift fill-ins.
