Integrare Group LLC, is a high-growth, vertically integrated construction company, focused on representing commercial and mixed-use residential developments primarily in, but not limited to, Los Angeles (SoCal region). Key Responsibilities:

 

The Estimator is a critical member of the preconstruction team, responsible for leading the bidding and estimating process for diverse construction projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and collaborative spirit to accurately assess project costs, identify value engineering opportunities, and contribute to successful project delivery. The type of projects will vary from residential multifamily and commercial projects built using conventional concrete + wood construction and/or modular construction. This position has the potential to grow into a Senior Estimator and others. Some of the key responsibilities are as follows: 

 

Bid & Estimate Leadership:

  • Manage the full cycle estimating process for multifamily, commercial, and modular construction projects.
  • Analyze project documents (plans, specifications, contracts) for intent, coordination, constructability, and accurate pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong subcontractors relationships, soliciting and evaluating competitive bids. Evaluate value and risk of direct material purchases with third-party installation.

Technical Estimation:

  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs across all scopes of work.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid tabs and detailed cost analysis for internal and client review.
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction team to identify value engineering opportunities and assess project risks.
  • Develop clear qualifications and exclusions for each estimate.
  • Maintain a database of historical cost data for comparison and future reference.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in conceptual estimating, utilizing data interpolation and logical assumptions.

Project Support:

  • Assist project teams during the buyout process and throughout project execution with estimates, change orders, and cost analysis.
  • Assist with submittals, RFIs, buyout and coordination during early stages of project execution.
  • Track procurement schedules and coordinate with field teams to ensure timely deliveries.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with the latest estimating technologies, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Actively contribute to the development and refinement of estimating processes and tools.

 

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

 

Experience:

• 5+ years of general construction experience, 2+ years of specific experience as an Estimator.

Demonstrated experience estimating multifamily, commercial, and/or modular construction projects using conventional concrete and wood framing, structural steel, and concrete systems.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros) and other MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency in estimating software, such as ProEst, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with the AutoDesk family of products is a significant advantage, including but not limited to Building Connected, ACC Build, Revit, AutoCAD etc..
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
