We are looking to hire an entry level CAD technician to generate CAD models in SolidWorks for manufacturing, service, and marketing. You will be responsible for meeting with work associates to form design ideas into computer generated models using SolidWorks and Composer Software. You may be required to work as part of a team or individually on a project.

To ensure success as a CAD technician, you should have a basic understanding of CAD software, a keen eye for detail, the ability to work as part of a team and most importantly to be compelled to grow in your trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting with engineers, draftsmen, and designers to review blueprints and design drawings.
• Inputting design specifications into the CAD software.
• Working with a design team and individually on CAD projects.
• Reviewing CAD models with manufacturing and making minor adjustments.
• Conducing final model rendering and delivering the final product.
• Working with SolidWorks Composer generating Interactive Parts Manuals.

Qualifications:

• CAD Certification.
• Previous experience as a CAD technician.
• Advanced knowledge would be desired, but not necessary, of CAD and SolidWorks software.
• Ability to read and translate blueprints.
• Basic understanding of mechanical processes.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
