Were looking for a motivated, hands-on Branch Supervisor to lead our Lynden location. If you are passionate about agriculture, customer service, operational excellence, and know your way around irrigation systems, you could be the leader we are looking for.

As a cornerstone of our team, you’ll roll up your sleeves and guide daily branch operations, inspire and support a high performing crew and partner with customers to help them build smarter, more efficient farms. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Steer the team on organizing workflow and determine the days priorities to continually meet the needs and requirements of the business.
  • Help to develop, implement, and document workflow processes as well as perform quality checks to ensure agreed logistics processes are being followed.
  • Using effective leadership, provide supervision and mentoring to our inside sales teams, warehouse/yard teams, and delivery driver, including hourly timesheet tracking and submissions.
  • Create effective communication channels between the inside sales staff and warehouse teams to ensure timeliness of order fulfillment and staging for customer pickup.
  • Work with the HR team in recruitment efforts while taking an active role in interviewing and hiring decisions for seasonal and full-time staff.
  • Perform management assessments of all direct reports and measure their performance against duty related expectations and KPI’s.
  • Assist with any building related maintenance issues or needs for the location.
  • Assist in the pulling of orders, packaging, and shipping of products when warehouse teams get behind.
  • Ensure stock transfer orders between branch locations are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Follow company policies with regards to operations and health and safety and ensure staff members are compliant in the use of equipment and certifications are obtained where necessary.
  • Assist in all areas to support the daily operations of the facility.
