The Echelon of Medina Assisted Living is currently seeking a full-time Activities Director to join their team in Medina, Ohio!

The Echelon of Medina is a private, family-owned facility located in the heart of Medina. Following the medical model, The Echelon offers its members continuity of care from independent living to assisted living, and to memory care, if needed.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5 PM

The right candidate will have:

• At least 1 year of experience in Activities in an assisted living facility.
• Previous experience in a managerial role
• Activity Director certification preferred

Our Activities Director will:

• Implement members activities such as: exercise classes, walking programs, birthday parties, movies, music, crafts, social recreation and other games or activities.
• Work with staff to ensure the activities are well balanced and integrated with the members care plans
• Plan a monthly calendar for activities and events
• Keep track inventory for supplies used for activities
• Post daily activities
• Set up and assists with the planned activities
• Inform members and care givers of the activities schedule
• Book vendors for events and activities
• Observe member and reports changes in behavior or health status to the nurse

The Echelon campus is located in the heart of Historic Medina (just four blocks from the Square) and features two separate facilities—a state-of-the-art Assisted Living/Memory Care facility on the front of the property, and a luxury Independent Living facility located in the rear.
